Character Design: Captain Shen Lou

Shen Lou, named after the Chinese word for "oasis", is a pirate who roams the seas atop what used to be Asia. After most of the world was engulfed by the rising seas, she was separated from her parents as they fled the coasts of one of the last remaining land masses. In addition to searching for her family, Shen Lou must navigate the cut throat world of mercenaries in the high seas.

This is my first ever character design from scratch. I look forward to exploring Shen Lou's story further in the future in addition to sharing some of my other creations.
